Orphan Choir, Orphan Choir, Orphan Choir!
Orphan Choir (Windsor, Ontario) put up three news songs on their myspace. Everyone needs to listen to them right now, go and buy the record when it comes out and high-five me if you love this band and I made it happen.

This is HUGE
So Against Me! used to be a two person act. Tom Gabel and Kevin Mahon used to crush out songs in basements all over the states. Over the weekend Tom brought Kevin out and they played the entirety of 2001's Crime As Forgiven EP, a few from The Acoustic EP and they also touched down on favorites"Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious..." and "Burn".

Setlist:
"I Dreamed Bob Dylan Was a Friend of Mine"
"Random Hearts"
"Amputations"
"Joy"
"Harsh Realms"
"Anna is a Stool Pigeon"
"Wagon Wheel"
"Jordan's First Choice"
"Tonight We're Gonna Give It 35%"
"Walking is Still Honest"
"What We Worked For"
"Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious..."
"I Still Love You Julie"
"Shit Stroll"
"Impact"
"Ya'll Don't Wanna Step To Dis"
"Burn"
"We Did It All for Don"
"8 Full Hours of Sleep"
"Sink, Florida, Sink"
I'm burning up with jealousy, tonight calls for an all Against Me! all the time night.

Whoa Big News
Mark's blog on himynameismark:
"In the midst of everything else that has happened lately, tom, travis, and i have all spoken together. first through a number of phone calls, and then a couple of weeks ago we all hung out for a few hours. they’ve all been great, very positive conversations. we’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking. it’s a good thing. obviously the first question for a lot of people will be “does this mean a blink-182 reunion?” the answer is none of us know. we haven’t talked about it at all. right now it’s just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect, and let the past be the past. the events of the past two months supersede everything that happened before. life is too short."
holy.

Christmas Time!
So Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) has a Christmas album coming out on Nov. 18. He has a new song coming out everyday until it's release and it will blow jingle bells out of the fucking water.
Thanks Zac for the heads up.
p.s. Paramore has a CD DVD coming out, and Anthony Green has some charity songs up to help his family out to pay for some hospital bills, good things happening in the music buisness this year. I love it, but still miss Cursed everyday.

It's True..
Midland's (Toronto's) Born Ruffians released a 4 song EP sometime this weekend. Three new songs and the original of Foxes Mate For Life from Red, Yellow and Blue.

UPDATE: I lied, Christopher Fry called me out. It was Tokyo Polic Club that toured with them, and it wasn't an EP, it's just a studio release.

Pharrell + Strokes = Maybe...?
So I was reading Inked last week and as I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that Pharrell Williams is trying to grow pig skin and his skin to cover up his own tattoos he also wants to record the next Strokes record.
“Julian Casablancas and I collaborated on something with Santogold, so I’m talking to him about their next record, I want it bad!”
I think this would be an awesome opportunity. Pharrell has done a lot of amazing producing in his days and the fact that he wants to take a different route with a new type of music just makes me smile inside. The world of music is turning around, big time.
